Day 1: Leave Guayaquil after breakfast. A brief city tour of Riobamba heading for the city of Guano. This city is characterized by their hand-woven rugs and Eláter clothing. Then we will continue to Ambato where we will visit churches, museums, house of Juan Montalvo, the villa of Juan Leon Mera, and return to the hotel for the lunch. Leave for Baños passing through Pelileo, where Ecuadorian jeans are made. Arrive at hotel for free time.
Day 2: After breakfast we will travel towards the avenue of cascades, in the passage we`ll find the Agoyan Dam, thermoelectrically powered station, tunnels and cascade of Agoyan, Manto de Novia, cross the river Pastaza in tarabita (cable car-optional) where you`ll experience hanging from 150 meters above the rapid river. Then we will continue to an even more impressive cascade, Pailón of the Devil. Return to the hotel for dinner. At night (optional) we will party on a City Night Tour to the viewpoint of the Virgin.
Day 3: Breakfast. Free time. There are several other places you may want to visit, such as: the church of the Virgin de Agua Santa (Virgin or Sanctified Water), market of crafts and hand made marshmallow delicacies, thermal water swimming pools, and the San Martin Zoo, the cascade of Ines Maria, or simply to rest in the hotel. After lunch we will return to Guayaquil.
